Crown Introduces IC Line
Crown has partnered with John Deere to produce their own line of internal combustion lift trucks, the C-5. This partnership may seem odd at first but if you stop to consider the agriculture and material handling industries both operate in dusty dirty environments at relatively slow speeds and both industries battle overheating it makes perfect sense. Most IC lift trucks use automotive engines and in most applications these powerplants do fine. Crown has targeted the harsh abusive applications with a revolutionary cooling system in the C-5 series.
